Inspired by Becky Hunter (@musehunter) I have decided to run a couple of blog carnivals and launch a new series to complement Milk Mondays and Foraging Fridays here at Seymour Writes.
Welcome to “Writers Wednesday”, where I am hoping to post a series of writer related material, musings on the art of writing, book reviews, writer profiles and links to useful resources for both writers of fiction and non-fiction.
To kick things off I am planning on doing a Fiction Writer’s Blog Carnival. In the early days of blogging, these were more popular. A single blogger would showcase the best work of his or her fellow bloggers in a roundup of all that is good. I would love to hear from anyone who would like their fiction related writing blog featured in a posting scheduled for Wednesday the 24th of November – so you have two weeks to get your submissions in.
This auspicious date is the birthday of several famous writers including William F. Buckley Jr, Arundhati Roy, Frances Hodgson Burnett, and Spider Robinson so it seems like a good moment to celebrate. It is also NaNoWriMo so I know a lot of us are particularly conscious of writing this month.
If you are writing fiction of any sort, long or short, please let me know by email (seymour@seymourjacklin.co.uk), or leave a comment, or tweet me (@seymikins) if you would like your blog featured on the 24th.
If you are freelancing or writing non-fiction, watch this space for future Blog Carnivals dedicated to you good people.
Looking forward to hearing from you …
